What to see at Fushimi Inari Taisha
Senbon Torii after the main sanctuary
Walk beneath red Senbon Torii after visiting the main sanctuary. You can return after this area without climbing Mount Inari to see torii.
How to get to Fushimi Inari Taisha
Take JR Nara from Kyoto on a service stopping at Inari, directly in front of the shrine. Official guidance gives the second stop and about 5 minutes aboard. Waiting, hotel-to-Kyoto travel and main-sanctuary walks are extra. Keihan Fushimi-inari is a different station.

After main-sanctuary/torii visits, return to Inari and take a Kyoto-bound train. Eat outside the grounds. Kyoto's 5-day route covers these areas, excluding a Mount Inari summit hike. Check JR return fares and date-specific trains separately.
