Four sights on separate days from Ise

Stay four nights near Iseshi. Give Geku, Naiku, aquarium and Futami a day each; stay nearby on departure day.

Day 1: start at Geku

Walk from Iseshi for Geku worship, then eat and stay near the station. This course starts at Iseshi; airport returns are excluded.

    Follow the Geku approach from the JR-side exit for about five minutes to the entrance.

  2. Geku entrance → Hotel near the station

    Walk about ten minutes one way from entrance to sanctuary, then return to the station area along the same route. Worship/return walks are extra. Eat near the station and check in. For arrival after closing, swap with Day 4 Futami, checking coastal weather too.

October Geku access ends at 17:00. Leave time for worship and the station-return walk.

Day 2: Naiku return trip

  1. Iseshi-ekimae stand 10 → Naiku-mae stop

    Take a Naiku-mae-bound bus from stand 10. The adult return fare is 1,040 yen; search travel-date times separately.

  2. Naiku-mae stop → Uji Bridge and Naiku main sanctuary

    Cross Uji Bridge and walk to the sanctuary for worship, then eat in Oharai-machi on your way back.

  3. Naiku-mae stand 2 → Iseshi Station and the same hotel

    Take an Iseshi-bound bus from Naiku-mae stand 2 to the same hotel.

Search outbound Naiku-mae and return Iseshi services separately for your date. Return to the same Ise hotel after worship and food.

Day 3: Toba Aquarium

  1. Kintetsu Iseshi Station → Kintetsu Toba Station

    Choose travel-date Iseshi–Toba returns in Kintetsu search. Take a Toba-bound service and alight there. Limited express needs a supplement; this course subtotal excludes rail fares.

    Follow aquarium signs at exit 1 for about ten minutes on foot. Allow gate and ticket-office waits separately.

  4. Toba Aquarium → Hotel near the station

    After food in Toba, return to its station for Iseshi. Choose the return train beforehand, allowing food and station walks after viewing.

Allow ticket time before normal last admission at 16:00 and choose your Iseshi-bound return train.

Day 4: Futami coast return trip

  1. Iseshi Station → Futami shrine and Meoto Iwa

    Take a Toba-bound JR Sangu Line service stopping at Futaminoura from Iseshi. Walk about 15 minutes to shrine/Meoto Iwa. Choose your date’s Iseshi return too.

  2. Futami shrine and Meoto Iwa → Futami coast

    Ordinary worship is free; check shrine-item reception/prayers separately. Shorten coast visits or take a rest day in strong wind/rain.

  3. Futami coast → Hotel near the station

    Return to Futaminoura for an Iseshi train and your hotel. JR tickets are outside this subtotal. Search Futaminoura–Iseshi for travel-date returns/fares with JR Central.

Choose Futaminoura returns first. Check shrine-item/prayer reception if needed; shorten coastal visits in strong wind/rain.

Day 5: approach shops, then depart

  1. Iseshi Station → Geku approach shopping street

    If time remains, browse open shops and eat on the Geku approach/near the station. Today’s plan does not include another visit inside the shrine grounds. Hours vary; omit shopping for early departure.

  2. Geku approach shopping street → Iseshi Station

    After food/shopping, return the same way to Iseshi. Allow time to reach your booked departure platform.

Day 1: Iga ninja museum

View ninja-house mechanisms and tools, then stay near Uenoshi. This course starts at Iga-Kambe; airport returns are excluded.

    Follow the official local map to the ninja museum in Ueno Park. The ten-minute walk is access only; ticket/reception queues are extra.

    Watch hidden-door/mechanism demonstrations and view ninja tools. Admission is 1,000 yen for high-school age and above. Add the 600-yen show if dates/sessions fit. Complete reception before 15:30 weekdays or 16:00 Saturdays/Sundays/public holidays.

  4. Ninja exhibits and optional show → Hotel near Uenoshi Station

    Return about ten minutes along the same route to Uenoshi for food and your hotel. The official estimate is one-way access. On non-show days, visit house/exhibits only.

Day 2: move to Ise and visit Geku

  1. Uenoshi Station → Iga-Kambe Station

    Take Iga Railway from Uenoshi towards Iga-Kambe and alight there.

  2. Iga-Kambe Station → Iseshi Station

    Transfer at Iga-Kambe to Kintetsu for Iseshi. Osaka and Yamada lines connect at Ise-Nakagawa, but actual transfers depend on your train. Search Uenoshi–Iseshi for your date to check transfers, stops and fares. Limited express needs a reserved-seat limited-express ticket plus basic fare.

  3. Iseshi Station JR-side exit → Geku and Iseshi Station

    If time remains before seasonal closing, follow the JR-side Geku approach to entrance/main sanctuary, returning the same way. Omit Geku for late arrival. Choose around your arrival and seasonal access cutoff.

Day 3: Naiku and the same hotel

  1. Iseshi Station → Naiku main sanctuary and Oharai-machi

    Take a Naiku-mae-bound bus from Iseshi-ekimae stand 10, cross Uji Bridge and walk to the sanctuary for worship.

    Eat in Oharai-machi, then take an Iseshi bus from Naiku-mae stand 2. Stay in Ise again; adult return bus fare is 1,040 yen. Check travel-date times/changes separately.

Day 4: Toba Aquarium and overnight stay

Move from Ise to Toba, visit the aquarium and stay one night.

    Search Iseshi–Toba for your date with Kintetsu. Check ordinary train stops/transfers, board towards Toba and alight there. Limited express needs an extra ticket; this subtotal excludes trains.

    Follow aquarium signs at Toba exit 1 for about ten minutes on foot. Allow ticket queues before travel-date last admission: normally 16:00, designated peak periods 16:30.

  3. Toba Aquarium entrance → Exhibitions and your Toba hotel

    View dugongs and Ise-Shima marine-life exhibits, then eat and stay in Toba. Ordinary adult admission is 2,800 yen. Normal hours are 09:30–17:00, last admission 16:00; check travel-date special notices. Do not return to Ise today.

Check your date’s Toba train and aquarium ticket cutoff. After viewing, eat dinner and stay at your new Toba hotel; do not return to Ise today.

Day 5: short coastal walk, then depart Toba

    In suitable weather, visit the free Kamome promenade about five minutes from Toba Station.

    Eat near the station, then return to Toba. Omit walks for strong wind/rain or early departure. Pearl Island and other paid facilities are outside today’s basic course.

Does the course with a final Toba night include Pearl Island?

No. It visits the aquarium on Day 4, stays in Toba, then offers Kamome walks on Day 5. Pearl Island is outside the basic course/4,840-yen subtotal. Can JR Ise-Toba free ticket cover all five days?

It lasts two days, not the whole five-day trip. The 5,300-yen adult ticket starts in Nagoya city, covering designated JR sections with bus-ticket exchange conditions. Do not assume Kintetsu/Iga Railway coverage. Choose the two dates when you will use it and your travel from the starting city, then compare ordinary tickets.
