Which attractions should I choose in Kagoshima?
Choose Sengan-en for a garden and former residence with Sakurajima across the bay, or Shiroyama for city and bay views. Explore changes to the island’s terrain at Sakurajima Visitor Centre and rugged volcanic slopes at Yunohira Observatory. The aquarium offers indoor marine-life exhibits; Ibusuki to the south offers sand bathing and rest. Compare Kirishima Shrine and the mountain park through the rental-car overnight courses.
