Saga in two days: Yoshinogari or Takeo bathing

Spend one Saga night, then choose settlement walks or a bath. Yoshinogari suits a large-park walk, while Motoyu offers a short bath and rest. Both courses sightsee until afternoon, so a morning flight, including the Seoul service discussed below, requires omitting day 2 visits or adding a night.

Saga Airport buses and JR ticket checks

Read when setting airport departure and rail-use dates.

Do Saga Airport international buses run daily?

Choose a Saga Station Bus Centre bus for your booked flight. Distinguish domestic/international, flight operating dates and stops in Saga City Bus’s dated timetables. Seoul/Taipei international direct buses use bus-centre stand 1 and airport international stand 2, different from domestic stand 1. Direct ride about 30 minutes, adult single JPY 600, excluded from course subtotals. After stored bags, allow collection and bus-centre access.

International direct buses follow flight operating dates; do not assume the same daily departure. They differ from domestic services stopping at the castle’s Hakubutsukan-Mae. Decide sightseeing using departure conditions above and allow airline/baggage deadlines/security after airport arrival.

Stops/fares use the 1–24 October 2026 table. From 25 October, recheck flight/bus times and stops in the new period’s timetable.

Do I need Northern Kyushu Rail Pass for only Saga travel?

Course costs add separate tickets/facilities, without claiming pass savings. Northern Kyushu Rail Pass covers eligible northern-Kyushu sections including Saga with ordinary trains/Midori, valid 3 or 5 consecutive days. For a five-day trip with separated JR days, match actual travel dates to validity first.

Airport/Yutoku/Showa buses, admissions and baths are extra. Eligibility requires a non-Japanese tourist living outside Japan and Temporary Visitor entry. Check seat reservations/your date’s services. Add actual Fukuoka/Nagasaki or other JR travel when comparing total rail costs/pass prices. Extra regions’ return time/sightseeing is excluded from these Saga courses.
