Opening hours

The residence opens year-round, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. in April–November and 9:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. in December–March. The official English guide gives last entry as 5:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. respectively, while official final exit times are 5:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Plan around the distinction between last entry and final exit.

How to get to Aizu Bukeyashiki

Take the Akabe loop bus from Aizu-Wakamatsu Station to Aizu Bukeyashiki-mae. Walk to the main gate and ticket office. Return on Akabe from the Aizu-Wakamatsu-bound stop. The same stop name appears twice in the route table, so distinguish the directions. Allow separate time for the walk to the gate and entry wait. Adult bus fare is ¥250 per ride; check your date's weekday or holiday timetable and seasonal operating conditions.
