Look over Osaka's cityscape and rivers from indoors, then walk the rooftop Sky Walk. Stop during a Umeda day to see the city from above as well as from street level.

Official walking guidance lists about seven minutes from JR Osaka Station and nine minutes from Osaka Metro Umeda. From Midosuji Line Umeda, leave the North Gate toward Yodobashi Umeda. Pass LINKS UMEDA, continue between Grand Front's North and South buildings, cross the intersection, and use the short underpass in the official guide. Back at street level, cross the road to the Sky Building and follow the outdoor observatory entrance signs. These walks exclude hotel-to-station travel, platform walks, ticket purchases, and entrance waits.

Use the dedicated observatory entrance

Follow the observatory entrance signs at the Sky Building. This route differs from the Tower East and West office elevators. Add ticket purchases and entrance waits to your station-to-building walk.

Time your visit for sunset

For sunset, allow the walk and admission wait before sunset time. Weather affects the view, and rooftop use follows that day's guidance. Special operating days may have different hours and ticket conditions.
