Admission
Standard admission costs JPY 2,000 for adults and JPY 500 for children aged 4–12. Special opening days and events have separate ticket conditions; check your date.
Opening hours
The observatory opens from 09:30 to 22:30, with last admission at 22:00. Special opening days may change entry start times and ticket conditions.

City and river views
Look over the city and river indoors before walking on the rooftop Sky Walk. Combine the views from above with a walk through Umeda.
How to get to Floating Garden Observatory
Official walks are about seven minutes from JR Osaka or nine minutes from Osaka Metro Umeda. From Midosuji line Umeda, use the North Gate towards Yodobashi Umeda, pass LINKS UMEDA and walk between Grand Front’s north and south buildings. Cross the junction and use the short underpass in official guidance. Return to street level and cross to the Sky Building, following its outdoor observatory entrance signs. These times exclude accommodation-to-station travel, platform walking and ticket or entry queues.

Use the observatory entrance
Follow dedicated observatory entrance signs at the Sky Building. This differs from the Tower East and West office lifts. Add ticket and admission queues to the station-to-building walk.
Plan your arrival for sunset
Allow time for the walk and entry queues so you arrive before sunset. Views vary with weather, and rooftop use follows same-day guidance. Special opening days can have different hours and ticket conditions.

Use the observatory’s separate dedicated entrance. Follow its outdoor entrance signs, distinct from Tower East and West office lifts.
