Individual admission is ¥1,100 for adults and ¥550 for elementary, junior high, and high school students. You cannot reenter with the same ticket after leaving.

How to get to Dejima · 出島
Take tram Line 1 toward Sofukuji from Nagasaki-ekimae to Dejima stop. An entrance is about a one-minute walk away. From Shinchi Chinatown stop, the walk is about four minutes. The water gate closes in the evening, so follow main entrance bridge directions.

Visit tips
Finish your visit before leaving
Allow 1½–2 hours for the visit. Reentry is not allowed once you leave, so see all the buildings and exhibitions you want before moving on to a meal or another attraction.
Use the main entrance bridge in the evening
The water gate closes at 6 p.m.; the main entrance bridge remains available until 9 p.m. Head toward the main entrance bridge for an evening arrival or exit. Maintenance may restrict some facilities, so check notices for the buildings you want to see.
