Admission
The seven-facility combined ticket costs ¥2,400 for high school students and older and ¥1,200 for elementary and junior high school students. It allows one entry per facility over the purchase day and following day. Bathing and bus fares are excluded.
Opening hours
All seven facilities are listed as open 8 a.m.–5 p.m., year-round. The official guide does not specify a separate last-admission time; arrive early enough to finish before closing.

Five Kannawa facilities and a separate pair
In Kannawa, visit Umi Jigoku, Oniishibozu Jigoku, Kamado Jigoku, Oniyama Jigoku and Shiraike Jigoku. Chinoike and Tatsumaki are about 3 km from these five. To visit both areas in one day, allow time for buses and walking between facilities.

Take a Kannawa-direction route 5 from Beppu Station west-side stop 3. Get off at Umi Jigoku-mae or Kannawa and walk between the nearby five facilities. Travel separately to Chinoike and Tatsumaki, about 3 km away.

Arriving late? Start with nearby facilities
The combined ticket allows one entry per facility over the purchase day and following day; repeat entry to the same facility is not allowed. Visits end at 5 p.m., so if arriving late, start nearby and leave unvisited facilities for the following day. Allow time to walk back to bus stops.
