How to get to Sakurajima Visitor Center · 桜島ビジターセンター
The Visitor Center is about a 10-minute walk from Sakurajima Port. After leaving the ferry, walk to the center for the exhibits before continuing your island visit.
Visit tips
Going to the observatory after the exhibition
Leave time to walk to the bus stop after the exhibition. The center stays open until 5:00 p.m., but buses depart according to their stop timetables. Choose your bus to the observatory and your return to the port first.
