Admission
Individual admission is ¥2,400 for adults, ¥1,800 for visitors age 65 and older, ¥1,700 for junior high and high school students, and ¥1,200 for elementary school students. Preschool children age 4 and older pay ¥700; children under 4 enter free.
Opening hours
From September 28 through November 3, hours are 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m., with last admission at 5:00 p.m. From November 4 through March 19, hours are 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with last admission at 4:30 p.m. For other periods or changes to the schedule, check the official hours for your visit date.

Leave and return on the same day
You can reenter the aquarium on the day of your visit. Before leaving, ask the exit staff to arrange reentry, then return within that day's opening hours to continue your visit.
How to get to Sendai Umino-Mori Aquarium · 仙台うみの杜水族館
Take the JR Senseki Line from Sendai Station to Nakanosakae Station, a ride of about 18 minutes. Leave through the south exit and walk about 15 minutes to the aquarium. A Miyako Kotsu bus also runs between the station and aquarium; the adult fare is ¥200 each way. Allow extra time to wait for trains and buses.

Check the return bus as well as the outbound ride
The Miyako Kotsu bus between Nakanosakae Station and the aquarium is a paid service. If you take it, allow for waiting time and check when the buses return to the station.
