Admission
General admission is ¥2,000. Elementary, junior high, and high school students under 18 pay ¥500; preschool children enter free. The ticket covers the Main Gallery, Craft Art and Eastern Art Gallery, and Torajiro Kojima Memorial Hall. The Annex is closed long term.
Opening hours
The Main Gallery is open 9:00 AM–5:00 PM March–November, with last admission at 4:30 PM; December–February hours are 9:00 AM–3:00 PM, with last admission at 2:30 PM. Torajiro Kojima Memorial Hall is open 10:00 AM–4:00 PM March–November and 10:00 AM–3:00 PM December–February. The museum usually closes Mondays but is open on public and substitute holidays; it is open every day in August. Check the calendar for your date, including temporary closures.

The roughly 10-minute walk to the historical quarter's entrance has a different endpoint. Allow extra time to walk from your lodging to the station.
