Visitor information
Admission
Admission is ¥500 for ages 15–64 excluding junior/senior high school students, and ¥200 for age 65 and older. High school students and younger enter free through March 31, 2027; high school students must bring a student ID or other proof. A combined ticket for Korakuen and Okayama Castle's keep costs ¥800.
Opening hours
The garden is open 7:30 a.m.–6 p.m. March 20–September 30, with admission until 5:45 p.m., and 8 a.m.–5 p.m. October 1–March 19, with admission until 4:45 p.m. It opens year-round, but events may change opening and closing times.

Walk slowly between lawns and ponds to explore garden scenery. Okayama Castle is across the river; continue to its keep exhibition after the garden if you wish.

How to get to Okayama Korakuen Garden · 岡山後楽園
About 25 minutes on foot from Okayama Station. By streetcar, take a Higashiyama-bound service to Shiroshita, then walk about 10 minutes to Korakuen. The official approximately four-minute streetcar ride excludes waiting and walking from the stop.

Night opening takes place only on specified event dates. For an evening garden visit, check whether your date falls within the event period and that day's admission cutoff.
