Ages 15–64, excluding junior/senior school students, pay JPY 500; ages 65+ JPY 200. Senior high school pupils and younger enter free until 31 March 2027; senior pupils need student ID or other proof. The garden and castle keep joint ticket is JPY 800.

The garden opens from 07:30 to 18:00 from 20 March to 30 September, with entry until 17:45, and from 08:00 to 17:00 from 1 October to 19 March, with entry until 16:45. It opens throughout the year, but events can change hours.

Walk beside lawns and water

Walk slowly among lawns and ponds. Okayama Castle stands across the river, so you can continue to keep exhibitions after the garden.

How to get to Okayama Korakuen Garden

Walk about 25 minutes from Okayama Station. By tram, take a Higashiyama-bound service to Shiroshita, then walk about 10 minutes. The official roughly 4-minute tram ride excludes waiting and walking from the stop.
