Visitor information
Admission
Building observation admission is ¥100 for adults and high school students, and ¥50 for elementary and junior high school students. Preschoolers are free. Walking the outdoor observation corridor requires no admission fee.
Opening hours
The building is open 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Sunday–Friday and 9 a.m.–9 p.m. Saturday. Admission ends 30 minutes before closing. It closes on the second Tuesday each month, or the next weekday if that Tuesday is a public holiday. The outdoor observation corridor is accessible throughout the day.

Mountain and sea views along the corridor
The observation corridor offers views of Mount Fuji, Suruga Bay, and Shimizu Port. Walk slowly along it to take in the mountains and coast.
How to get to Nihondaira Yume Terrace · 日本平夢テラス
Take a bus from Shizuoka Station to the Nihondaira Ropeway terminus and get off there. Follow terrace signs at the summit. The facility lists about a three-minute walk between the terrace and ropeway. Services from Higashi-Shizuoka Station differ from those from Shizuoka Station, so check your boarding station. Allow separate time for bus waiting and meals.

Building admission charged from October 1, 2026
The outdoor observation corridor remains free. The building’s exhibits and observation floor require admission from October 1, 2026.
Check year-end closure dates
The building closes at year-end. The top of the official guide lists December 26–31, while its FAQ lists December 26–30. If visiting at year-end, confirm the opening day with the facility.
