    Watch one daytime performance on the second floor. Each 40-minute show starts at 11 a.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m., or 4 p.m. For a late arrival, the 8 p.m. evening show is an option, but costs adults ¥300 more. Do not plan these shows on Kaikan closing days or during the August 11–15 regular-performance break.

    After the show, choose an open restaurant near the Kaikan or station for dinner, then return to the same lodging. For an evening show, check restaurant last-order times too.

Day 2 · Visit Bizan before leaving

From your lodging near Tokushima Station, walk to Awa Odori Kaikan and go to the ropeway’s fifth-floor base station. See the views from Bizan and ride the same ropeway down.

    Take the Bizan Ropeway, which starts running at 9 a.m., to the summit station. The ride takes about six minutes. Allow additional time for tickets, waiting, and walking at the summit. Recheck seasonal closing times and maintenance or bad-weather suspensions for your date.

    After enjoying the views, take the same ropeway down.

Stay one night in Naruto to look down at the strait and seek out the whirlpools. Walk the city park on Day 1, then visit Uzu no Michi around the tide times the next day.

Day 1 · City views in Naruto, then your lodging

Stay in Naruto, see the city from Myoken Park on Day 1, and visit the strait from Uzu no Michi on Day 2. Station-area and strait-side lodging have different locations; compare round-trip transport when booking. The park is always accessible, but finish your walk in daylight. If arriving late, rest at your lodging and visit only the strait the next day.

Day 2 · Visit Uzu no Michi and return to your lodging

Look down at Naruto Strait from Uzu no Michi’s walkway. Take round-trip Naruto Park buses timed around the tides.

    After visiting, return to the Naruto Park stop and take a bus back to Naruto Station. For lunch, check whether park shops are open or eat after returning to the station.

Can I depart immediately after the Naruto bus returns to the station?

Allow additional time after reaching Naruto Station to collect luggage at your lodging and reach your actual departure stop. If the connection does not fit, shorten the Day 2 strait visit or consider moving it to the previous day.
