Admission
Interior admission costs JPY 1,000 for visitors of junior secondary school age and above and JPY 300 for primary school children. Younger children enter free.
Opening hours
Visiting hours are 08:30–17:00, with admission until 16:30. The official fee table lists no regular closure day.

How to get to Kongobu-ji
Take the Nankai Koya Line to Gokurakubashi, change to the cable car for Koyasan, then take a mountain bus. Check services stopping at Kongobujimae and the walk from the stop. The walking route differs if getting off at Senjuinbashi.

Take a mountain bus from Koyasan Station that stops at Kongobujimae. Senjuinbashi is a different stop, with a different walking route to the temple.

Kongobu-ji admission closes at 16:30. If staying at a temple, finish your visit in time to return for its dinner. Check the meal time with your property.
