Konpon Daito is a pagoda at Koyasan's Danjo Garan. Inside, Dainichi Buddha at the centre is surrounded by other Buddhist statues. Paintings on pillars and walls complete a representation of the mandala.

Admission

Konpon Daito interior admission costs JPY 500 for visitors of junior secondary school age and above. Children of primary school age and younger enter free. The Kondo interior costs a further JPY 500.

Konpon Daito is within Danjo Garan. Take a mountain bus from Koyasan Station. From Koyasan accommodation, check the route to Danjo Garan and return buses together.
