Visit Yoshinogari Historical Park to explore a reconstructed ancient settlement. Walk between historic sites and rest on the lawns for an outdoor outing.
Start at the east entrance for the historic area. Play facilities and lawns are nearer the west entrance; choose your entrance around your interests to reduce walking.

Individual admission is JPY 460 for adults aged 15 and over; junior high school students and younger enter free. Ages 65 and over pay JPY 200 with proof of age.
Opening hours
The park opens 09:00–17:00 in April–May and September–March, and 09:00–18:00 in June–August. It closes 31 December and the third Monday in January plus the following Tuesday.

How to get to Yoshinogari Historical Park
Take a Tosu-bound Nagasaki Main Line local train from Saga to Yoshinogari-Koen, then walk about 15 minutes to the east entrance. Check train travel time and return services with JR. Allow time for train waits and station walks.

Before you visit
Start historic-site visits at the east entrance
Use the east entrance for the historic area. The west entrance is nearer play facilities and lawns, changing the walk to the sites.
Allow time for sightseeing and outdoor breaks
Allow around three to four hours for the historic area, outdoor breaks and lunch. This does not cover the whole park. Station walks and train waits need extra time.
