Admission

Individual admission is ¥460 for adults age 15 and older; junior high school students and younger enter free. Visitors age 65 and older pay ¥200 and need proof of age.

Opening hours

The park is open 9:00 AM–5:00 PM April–May and September–March, and 9:00 AM–6:00 PM June–August. It closes December 31, the third Monday in January, and the following Tuesday.

How to get to Yoshinogari Historical Park · 吉野ヶ里歴史公園

Take a Nagasaki Main Line local train toward Tosu from Saga Station and get off at Yoshinogari-Koen Station. Walk about 15 minutes to the east entrance. Check train journey times and return services in the official JR search, and allow for train waits and walking from the station.

Use the east entrance for the archaeological area. The west entrance is closer to play facilities and lawns, so the distance to the ruins differs.

Allow about 3–4 hours for a visit focused on the ruins, plus outdoor breaks and lunch. This does not cover every part of the park. Walking to and from the station and waiting for trains take additional time.
