Use the east entrance to see the reconstructed settlement and archaeological remains. The west entrance is closer to play facilities and lawns. This is a large park, so choosing the wrong entrance adds walking before you reach the ruins you want to see. Allow 3–4 hours focused on the ruins, with outdoor breaks and lunch. This does not cover a circuit of the entire park.

  • AdmissionAdmission is ¥460 for adults age 15 and older; junior high school students and younger enter free. Visitors age 65 and older pay ¥200 with proof of age.
  • HoursThe park is open 9:00 AM–5:00 PM April–May and September–March; 9:00 AM–6:00 PM June–August. It closes December 31 and the third Monday in January and the following day.
