Individual standard cruise fares are JPY 2,200 for senior high school students and older, and JPY 1,100 for ages four through junior high school. Individuals buy tickets on the day; reservations are only for groups of 15 or more.
Opening hours
Standard departures are usually around 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 14:00 and 15:00. The noon service has seasonal suspensions and extra sailings may be added. Choose your boat from the dated departure list. Weather and operating schedules may cancel or change departures.

How to get to Kujukushima Cruising Boat Pearl Queen
Take a Pearl Sea Resort and Kujukushima Aquarium-bound bus from Sasebo-Ekimae stand 6. The regular ride is about 25 minutes and express about 18 minutes; adult fare is JPY 390 one way. These estimates exclude waits and the pier walk. Check return buses when you arrive.

Choose sailings and return buses together
Allow around half a day for return buses, ticketing and waits. Regular and express bus timetables differ, so choose your resort journey around the sailing. Check the bus back to Sasebo Station after disembarking.
Seats are not guaranteed for every passenger
Pearl Queen has capacity for 280 passengers and 118 seats. If you need to sit, contact the operator before boarding. Light rain may allow sailing, but the captain may cancel in heavy rain or strong winds.
