Individual regular-cruise fares are ¥2,200 for high school students and older and ¥1,100 for ages 4 through junior high school. Individuals buy tickets at the same-day counter. Advance reservations are available only for groups of 15 or more.
Opening hours
Regular cruises usually depart around 10 a.m., 11 a.m., noon, 1 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m. The noon service may be suspended seasonally; extra sailings may be added. Choose your boat from the departure schedule for your visit date. Weather and operating schedules may cancel or change departures.

From Sasebo Station stop 6, take a bus toward Pearl Sea Resort/Kujukushima Aquarium. The regular ride takes about 25 minutes, or the express about 18 minutes; the adult fare is ¥390 one way. These times exclude waiting and the walk to the pier. Check the bus back to Sasebo Station when you get off.

Choose the sailing and return bus together
Allow about half a day including the bus round trip, tickets, and waiting. Regular and express buses use different timetables, so choose a resort-bound bus that fits your sailing. Check the bus back to Sasebo Station after disembarking as well.
Not every passenger has a seat
Pearl Queen carries up to 280 passengers with 118 seats. Contact the operator before boarding if you need to sit during the trip. It may operate in light rain, but the captain may cancel for heavy rain or strong winds.
