How to get to Horikiri Pass
Take a Nichinan-bound bus from Miyako City and get off at Horikiri-Toge. Official tourism guidance lists about 35 minutes on the bus. Check times and fares separately when starting from accommodation in Aoshima.
Before you visit
Daytime access and return buses
During bad weather or road closures, skip the pass and travel to your accommodation or car return branch. Plan a daytime visit to open areas rather than assuming night access. If arriving by bus, check the return service in advance.
