How to get to Horikiri Pass · 堀切峠
Take a Nichinan-bound bus from Miyako City and get off at Horikiri-Toge. The official tourism guide estimates about 35 minutes on the bus. If leaving from your Aoshima hotel, check the bus times and fare separately from this guide.
Visit tips
Daylight access and return buses
If the weather is bad or roads are restricted, skip the pass and continue to your hotel or car return office. Do not assume nighttime access; visit open areas during daylight. If taking the bus, check the return service in advance.
