Choose Miyazaki shrines, town walks, and a gorge

Cross a bridge over the sea to the island shrine at Aoshima, or visit the cave sanctuary at Udo. Walk old town streets in Obi and see cedar sanctuary buildings at Miyazaki Shrine. For Takachiho's rock walls and waterfall, stay in the north and allow separate days for walking and boating. When driving, check the walk from the parking lot you will actually use to each attraction.

Frequently asked questions

Does a boat reservation guarantee nearby parking?

There is no dedicated boat parking or parking reservation service. Even though the boat reception is in Parking Lot 1, a boat booking does not guarantee a space there. Before your reserved time, allow time to walk from the lot assigned by the attendant to reception, then reach the boarding area. Check parking availability and boat operations separately.
