Take an Obi-bound bus from Miyazaki Station and get off at Udo-Jingu. The official tourism guide lists about 90 minutes on the bus and, under normal conditions, about a 10-minute walk from the stop to the shrine. Restrictions may change that walking route and estimate; check the latest notice for the detour. Confirm the return bus and segment fare too. Reaching the main sanctuary involves stairs down into the cave.

The operator's September 7, 2026 notice directs visitors to tourist parking because the access roads to lots 1 and 2 are closed. The approximately 20-minute walk from tourist parking to the main sanctuary is one way; the shrine visit and return are extra.
