Admission
The castle site is free to explore. Sendai Castle Kenbunkan is also free. Honmaru parking, exhibition facilities and restaurants are separate; check charges for the facilities you plan to use.
Opening hours
The castle site is accessible 24 hours a day. Sendai Castle Kenbunkan opens daily from 09:00 to 17:00. Other exhibition facilities and parking areas have their own hours.

How to get to Sendai Castle Site
Take Loople Sendai from West Exit bus stop 16 at Sendai Station. Alight at stop 6, Sendai Castle Site, and climb the stairs to Date Masamune’s equestrian statue and Honmaru viewpoint. Allow walking and sightseeing time after the bus ride. The return bus continues in the same loop direction.
