The castle site has no admission charge. Sendai Castle Kenbunkan is also free. Honmaru parking, exhibition facilities and restaurants are separate; check charges for the facilities you use.
Opening hours and closed days
The castle site is accessible 24 hours. Sendai Castle Kenbunkan opens year-round 09:00–17:00. Other exhibition facilities and parking have their own hours.

How to get to Sendai Castle Site
Take Loople from Sendai Station west-exit stop 16. Alight at stop 6, Sendai Castle Site, and climb stairs to Honmaru’s Date Masamune statue and viewpoint. Allow walking and sightseeing time separately after the bus. Return buses follow the same loop direction.
