Five days in Niigata: how should I split my nights?

Stay four nights in Niigata for the shrine, aquarium and historic residence and garden from the same accommodation. For marine life and mine tunnels, split your stay into two nights each in Niigata and Ryotsu. Choose the villa day around repairs and garden restrictions. On Sado, take the ferry back to Niigata the day after the mine.
