Admission
Deck admission costs 420 yen for adults or 200 yen for elementary and junior-high students; children below elementary-school age enter free.
Opening hours
June–September 09:00–21:00. October–May weekdays 09:00–19:00 and weekends/public holidays 09:00–20:00. Last admission is 30 minutes before closing: 20:30, 18:30 or 19:30 respectively.

An observation deck above the harbour
After harbour views from the deck, descend for a walk in nearby Port Park. The observation deck requires paid admission.
How to get to Chiba Port Tower
Walk about 12 minutes from Chibaminato Station to Port Tower. Official information lists only one morning bus from Chiba Station on weekends/public holidays; at other times, use the walk from Chibaminato.

Closure dates and strong winds
Normally closed on the fourth Monday of even-numbered months and December 28–31. In 2026, closures include October 26 and December 28–31. Dates can vary annually; check the official closure calendar. Strong winds may cause temporary closure.

Can I take a bus from Chiba Station to Port Tower?
Official access information lists one morning bus from Chiba Station on weekends/public holidays. At other times, walk about 12 minutes from Chibaminato Station. Chiba and Chibaminato are different stations.
