Admission
Observation-deck admission is ¥420 for adults and ¥200 for elementary and junior high school students. Children below elementary school age enter free.
Opening hours
The tower opens 9:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m. in June–September. In October–May, it opens 9:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. weekdays and 9:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. weekends and public holidays. Last admission is 30 minutes before closing: 8:30, 6:30, and 7:30 p.m., respectively.

How to get to Chiba Port Tower
Walk about 12 minutes from Chibaminato Station. The official guide lists only one morning bus from Chiba Station on weekends and public holidays; at other times, use the walk from Chibaminato.

Closures and strong winds
Regular closures are generally the fourth Monday of even-numbered months and December 28–31. In 2026, closures include October 26 and December 28–31. Dates can differ by year; check the official annual closure calendar. Strong winds may also cause temporary closure.

Can you take a bus from Chiba Station to Port Tower?
The official access guide lists one morning departure from Chiba Station on weekends and public holidays. At other times, walk about 12 minutes from Chibaminato. Chiba and Chibaminato are different stations.
