Admission
Deck admission is JPY 420 for adults and JPY 200 for primary and junior high school students. Preschool children are free.
Opening hours
Port Tower opens from 9 am to 9 pm from June to September. October–May hours are 9 am–7 pm weekdays and 9 am–8 pm Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Last admission is 30 minutes before closing: 8.30 pm, 6.30 pm or 7.30 pm respectively.

Look over Chiba harbour from the deck, then walk in Port Park below. Deck entry requires paid admission.
How to get to Chiba Port Tower
Walk about 12 minutes from Chiba-Minato to the tower. Official guidance lists only one morning bus from Chiba Station on weekends and public holidays, so use the Chiba-Minato walking route at other times.

Closures and strong winds
Standard closures are the fourth Monday of even-numbered months and 28–31 December. In 2026, these include 26 October and 28–31 December. Dates may vary by year, so check the official annual calendar. Strong winds may cause temporary closure.

Can I take a bus from Chiba Station to Port Tower?
The official access guide lists one morning departure from Chiba Station on weekends and public holidays. At other times, walk about 12 minutes from Chiba-Minato. Chiba and Chiba-Minato are separate stations.
