DisneySea and Chiba Port Tower →Narita and Sawara's old streets
Choose this for consecutive Narita nights with a day for Sawara's surveying exhibits and old streets. Temple visits, exhibitions and meals can be spread across separate days.
Day 1: Naritasan and Omotesando
Spend the day visiting the temple and walking along Omotesando from Narita Station. If arriving late, enjoy the streets and a meal, then visit the temple interior the next day. Doing so means shortening Sawara or staying in Narita instead that day.
- Narita Airport railway station → Keisei Narita or JR Narita Station
Choose a train that stops at Narita Station in the city. This differs from Skyliner services towards Nippori and Ueno. If arriving at Terminal 3, first go to the railway station at Terminal 2. Airport hotels and accommodation near Narita Station are in different locations.
- Around JR and Keisei Narita stations → Along Omotesando to Naritasan's main gate
Walk through Omotesando's shopping street to the main gate. Omotesando extends about 800 metres from the station area, with further walking from the gate to the main hall.
- Naritasan main gate → Great Main Hall
Follow the stairs and slopes through the grounds to the Great Main Hall. If you need to avoid stairs, first check lift locations on the official grounds map and their availability for your date.
Official Narita tourism guideOfficial Naritasan grounds map: facilities, stairs and lifts
- Great Main Hall → Temple visit and grounds walk
After worshipping, explore around the main hall. Buildings and service counters have different hours; if arriving late, visit only the open areas. Separate activities such as prayer services and sutra copying are excluded.

- Great Main Hall → Main gate and Omotesando
Return down the same route to the main gate and Omotesando. For a meal, choose an eel restaurant or another business after checking its hours and queues. Temple hours do not apply to restaurants.
- Omotesando → Around Narita Station
Follow Omotesando back towards the stations. Allow extra time beyond the walk if browsing shops or eating.
The main hall and service counters close at different times. If adding the park, consider the extra walking and your return time.
Day 2: Sawara's memorial museum and Onogawa
Make a day trip from Narita to Sawara. Visit the exhibition first, then eat and walk by the river before returning to Narita.
- JR Narita Station → JR Sawara Station
Take a Narita Line service towards Sawara and Choshi that stops at Sawara. Distinguish it from airport-bound trains and check your return service towards Narita before leaving.

The museum closes Mondays, the next weekday if Monday is a public holiday, and 29 December–1 January. On closure days, skip the exhibition for an old-street walk or stay in Narita. In heavy rain, shorten the riverside walk and reach the station for your return train.
Day 3: Tourist Pavilion, then Narita Airport
If you have spare time before departure, see festival floats at Narita Tourist Pavilion. If it is closed or airport travel is tight, skip the visit and go to the airport.
- Around JR and Keisei Narita stations → Narita Tourist Pavilion
Walk about 10 minutes along Omotesando to the pavilion. See the float displays, then return towards the station. Allow separate time for a temple visit, which involves walking further to the main hall.
- Tourist Pavilion entrance → Tourist information and festival floats
Browse local information on Level 1, then see festival floats upstairs. Admission is free. Before going upstairs, check official notices for lift availability on your visit date. If stairs are difficult and the lift is unavailable, stay on Level 1.

These are not total journey times including trains, waits or departure procedures.
The pavilion opens from 9 am to 5 pm and closes Mondays and 29–31 December. If Monday is a public holiday, it closes Tuesday; for consecutive holidays, it closes the day after they end.

Travel from the airport to Maihama for meals and shopping near the station. If going to your hotel first, add the journey there and back.
- If departing from Haneda Airport → Hamamatsucho Station
Take Tokyo Monorail to its terminus at Hamamatsucho. Add time to reach the platform from your terminal and wait for the train.
- Hamamatsucho Station → Tokyo Station
Change to the JR Yamanote Line towards Tokyo and alight at Tokyo Station. From Narita Airport, take a Narita Express service stopping here, then continue with the next step.
- Tokyo Station → Maihama Station
Walk to the JR Keiyo and Musashino line platforms and choose a train stopping at Maihama. Allow separate walking time between other JR platforms and the Keiyo Line platforms at Tokyo Station.
- Maihama Station south exit → IKSPIARI
Visit IKSPIARI in front of the station for meals or shopping on a day without park entry.
- IKSPIARI → Meals and shopping

- IKSPIARI → Maihama Station south exit
After eating or shopping, leave by the exit facing the station. For your hotel, use its walking route or shuttle stop.
If arriving late, shorten shopping and prioritise a meal and reaching your hotel.
Day 2: a full day at DisneySea
Spend today on DisneySea's attractions and harbour scenery. Take the Resort Line from Maihama to the park, then return the same way afterwards.
- Maihama Station → Resort Gateway Station
