Observation deck admission costs JPY 420 for adults and JPY 200 for primary and junior high school pupils. Preschool children enter free.
Opening hours and closed days
June–September: 09:00–21:00. October–May: weekdays 09:00–19:00; Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays 09:00–20:00. Last admission is 30 minutes before closing, at 20:30, 18:30 and 19:30 respectively.

How to get to Chiba Port Tower
Walk about 12 minutes from Chibaminato Station. The official guide lists only one morning bus from Chiba Station on weekends and public holidays; at other times, use the Chibaminato walking route.

Closures and strong winds
Generally closed on the fourth Monday of even-numbered months and 28–31 December. In 2026, closures include 26 October and 28–31 December. Check the official annual closure calendar, as dates can vary by year. Strong winds can cause temporary closure too.

The official access guide lists one morning bus from Chiba Station on weekends and public holidays. At other times, walk about 12 minutes from Chibaminato Station. Chiba and Chibaminato are different stations.
