Namba · 難波 → Dotonbori · 道頓堀
From Nankai Namba Station · 南海難波駅, walk north towards the Dotonbori River, using Ebisubashi · 戎橋 as a destination. Allow about 10–15 minutes depending on the route.
The exit and traffic lights affect walking time. With a large suitcase, consider leaving it at your hotel before sightseeing.
Bus arrivals at Namba OCAT · 大阪シティエアターミナル are near JR Namba, separate from Nankai Namba. Check the correct starting point for your hotel walk.

Landing time is not the time you can board a train. Check remaining services after arrivals and baggage collection, and tell your hotel your expected check-in time.
- Check the issuer’s change/cancellation rules. A reserved seat on a missed train does not transfer automatically to the next train.
- Check Namba-bound train and destination-specific bus timetables separately. The table checked on 4 October 2026 listed the last OCAT bus from Terminal 1 at 21:25.
- The Umeda table lists a late bus from Terminal 1 at next-day 00:15. It does not accept cash; no extra vehicle is provided when full, so boarding is not guaranteed.
- After public transport ends, compare the official taxi rank, a confirmed booked pickup or nearby accommodation. Ask for the taxi total including destination, tolls and night charges; no unverified fixed fare is quoted.

Kansai Airport to Osaka FAQ
Does Rapi:t take me directly to Dotonbori?
Rapi:t reaches Nankai Namba without changing. Dotonbori needs a walk; allow about 10–15 minutes towards Ebisubashi. For a hotel north of Shinsaibashi, compare a further subway stop from Namba.
Should I buy Rapi:t for an Umeda hotel?
Rapi:t goes to Namba, not Umeda, so another journey is needed. For Osaka Station hotels, compare Haruka or an Umeda airport bus first to reduce changes.
Where do I catch a train after arriving at Terminal 2?
Terminal 2 has no railway station. Take the free shuttle outside to Aeroplaza, then walk to Kansai-airport Station. The shuttle ride is about 7–9 minutes; add waiting and walking.
Can I use the next Rapi:t after missing my reserved train?
The reserved seat does not carry over automatically. Check your purchased product’s exchange/change rules and contact the retailer or Nankai staff before departure. A flight delay does not guarantee an automatic transport refund.
Are Namba and Umeda buses both available late at night?
Their last departures differ. The table checked on 4 October 2026 listed Terminal 1 → OCAT at 21:25 and Umeda at next-day 00:15. The Umeda late bus requires cashless payment and has no extra vehicle when full. Recheck the day’s timetable and notices.
Who can buy the JPY 1,300/1,800 Haruka discounted tickets?
These are JR West’s discounted one-way tickets for eligible foreign Temporary Visitors. A non-Japanese government-issued passport and Temporary Visitor entry status are required. They differ from normal fares; check your route and collection process. Selecting this English page does not establish eligibility.
