Two days in Nagano: castle or temple approach?
Stay one Matsumoto night for the wooden keep and city history, or one Nagano City night for Zenkoji and art. On day two, visit the City Museum or prefectural art museum, then return to that city’s station. For a morning departure, omit the second visit and allow travel time.
