Admission
Admission is ¥330 for adults, ¥270 for high school students, and ¥160 for elementary and junior high school students. Visitors with disabilities enter free on presenting their certificate. Separate rates apply to groups of 30 or more.

The garden opens 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. year-round, with last entry at 4:30 p.m.

How to get to Oyakuen
Haikarasan from Aizu-Wakamatsu Station reaches Oyakuen in about 30 minutes. Get off there and go directly to the garden entrance. If using Akabe, get off at Aizu-Wakamatsu Shoko Kaigisho-mae and walk about five minutes. The two buses use different stops.

Visit early in winter
The garden has no lighting, so an early winter visit works better. Plan a shorter outdoor walk when rain or snow makes walking difficult.

Questions about Oyakuen
Do Haikarasan and Akabe use the same stop for Oyakuen?
No. Haikarasan stops at Oyakuen, directly by the entrance. Akabe uses Aizu-Wakamatsu Shoko Kaigisho-mae, about a five-minute walk away.
