Standard admission is ¥450 for visitors of high school age and older and ¥210 for visitors age 65 and older. Visitors of junior high school age and younger enter free. A seasonal surcharge applies April 3–May 6 and October 9–November 3, 2026, making admission ¥800 for visitors of high school age and older. Check the official fare for visitors age 65 and older during those periods separately. Rides, the Seaside Train, and rental bicycles are excluded from admission.
Opening hours
The park opens at 9:30 AM. It closes at 5:00 PM on March 1–July 17 and September 1–October 31, at 6:00 PM on July 18–August 31, and at 4:30 PM on November 1–late February. It normally closes Tuesdays, or the following weekday when Tuesday is a public holiday. Some spring, summer, fall, and New Year periods open daily; check your date's calendar. It also closes December 31 and January 1, and from the day before the first Tuesday in February through that week's Friday.

How to get to Hitachi Seaside Park · 国営ひたち海浜公園
Take the bus from boarding point 2 at Katsuta Station's East Exit. Get off about 15 minutes later at Seaside Park West Gate (海浜公園西口). Enter through West Gate and follow the park map on foot to Miharashi no Oka.

The West Gate bus stop and Miharashi no Oka are some distance apart. Use the park map to plan your walk and leave time to return to West Gate for your bus.
