Ordinary admission costs JPY 450 for visitors of high school age and above, and JPY 210 for visitors aged 65 and over. Visitors of junior high school age and younger enter free. Seasonal charges on 3 April–6 May and 9 October–3 November 2026 raise admission for visitors of high school age and above to JPY 800. Check rates for visitors aged 65 and over during these periods separately. Rides, Seaside Train and bicycle hire are excluded.
Opening hours and closed days
The park opens at 09:30. It closes at 17:00 on 1 March–17 July and 1 September–31 October, at 18:00 on 18 July–31 August, and at 16:30 from 1 November to the end of February. It usually closes on Tuesdays, or the next weekday when Tuesday is a public holiday. Some spring, summer, autumn and New Year periods open daily; check your date’s calendar. It closes on 31 December and 1 January, and from the day before February’s first Tuesday through that Friday.

How to get to Hitachi Seaside Park
Take a bus from Katsuta east-exit stop 2; alight about 15 minutes later at West Gate (海浜公園西口). Enter and follow the park map to Miharashi Hill.

Before you visit
Walking from West Gate to the flower fields
West Gate’s bus stop is separate from Miharashi Hill. Use the park map for your walk and leave time back to West Gate for the return bus.
