The walkway beneath the bridge offers views down over Naruto Strait, including the sea and currents beneath the glass floor. If you want to see whirlpools, choose your visit time using the tide table for that date.

Admission is ¥510 for adults, ¥410 for junior and senior high school students, and ¥260 for elementary school students. Children under six enter free. The combination ticket with Eddy is a separate product.
Opening hours
March–September hours are 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., with last entry at 5:30 p.m. October–February hours are 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with last entry at 4:30 p.m. During Golden Week and the summer vacation period, hours extend to 8:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., with last entry at 6:30 p.m.

The strait beneath your feet
Follow the walkway beneath the bridge for views of the strait, then look through the glass floor at the currents below. The elevated view of the sea is the main attraction here.
How to get to Uzunomichi Whirlpool Walkway · 大鳴門橋遊歩道 渦の道
Take a Naruto Park-bound bus from outside Tokushima Station and get off at Naruto Park. The walkway is about a five-minute walk from the stop. The facility lists the bus ride as about 80 minutes, excluding waiting time. If driving, set your navigation destination to Onaruto Bridge Memorial Hall Eddy; entering only Uzunomichi may direct you elsewhere.

Time your visit for the whirlpools
The timing and size of the whirlpools vary each day. When choosing a time from the tide table, also check the facility's last-entry time. Opening hours do not mean whirlpools will be visible throughout the day.
Regular closures and additional December 2026 closures
The facility closes on the second Monday of March, June, September, and December. An additional closure notice covers December 14–16, 2026; check the facility's notice if visiting then.
