ANA flights between the U.S. and Japan: routes and delay certificates
Find your route and flight number below. For an ANA-operated international flight, open ANA’s certificate search and enter the local departure date with your flight number or route. If a partner airline operated the flight, contact that airline instead—even if the ticket shows an ANA flight number.

Request the certificate from ANA
- Find the operating airline and flight number on your booking.
- Use the departure date at the airport where that flight began. Crossing the Pacific can change the arrival date; do not use that date for the search.
- Enter the flight number and date, or select the route and date, on ANA’s form.
- Save the available document and ask your insurer whether it needs additional evidence.
Open ANA’s official certificate search →
ANA’s form excludes arrival delays within 15 minutes and states a search window from the previous six months through the following day’s operating flights. These search conditions do not guarantee a certificate for every flight.
If the form does not find your flight
Check the local departure date and operating airline first. A missing certificate result is not proof that a flight was canceled, nor proof that it operated on time. Ask ANA staff how to document your flight if the form cannot provide what you need.
Keep the certificate with the rest of your documents
Retain the booking, boarding pass, airline messages and expense receipts. Check the insurer’s required documents and deadlines before submitting a claim; the certificate alone does not establish coverage.

ANA certificate questions
Which date should I enter for an ANA delay certificate?
Enter the local departure date, not your arrival date in Japan or the United States. Search using the route and date, or the flight number and date.
Does ANA issue a certificate for every delay?
ANA’s certificate search says it does not provide delay certification when the arrival delay is within 15 minutes. The search covers a limited date range; check the instructions on ANA’s form for your flight.
