See marine life in the Sea of Japan tank and penguin exhibits. Indoor exhibits are also available on rainy days.

    From Niigata Station's bus terminal stop 9, take C22 toward Suizokukan-mae and get off at the terminus. Adult fare is ¥260 one way. On your final day, choose the return service before setting sightseeing time.

  2. Suizokukan-mae bus stop → Aquarium front entrance and ticket counter

    Enter through the front entrance, buy a ticket at the counter beside the museum shop, then proceed to the exhibition entrance. General adult admission is ¥1,500. Normal hours are 9 a.m.–5 p.m., with ticket sales until 4:30 p.m.

  3. Aquarium exhibitions → Meal and rest → Suizokukan-mae stop

    See the Sea of Japan tank and indoor exhibits, then have lunch and rest. Continue to the penguin and marine-animal areas. Choose shows from that day's guide; meals and extra activities are separate from admission. After visiting, leave through the exit and return to Suizokukan-mae stop.

Can I use the sightseeing loop bus day pass on C22?

The two routes are separate. This aquarium itinerary uses the ¥520 C22 round-trip fare. If switching to the loop bus, choose services from its timetable. You must present a valid day pass at the ticket counter to receive the aquarium discount.
