Admission

Individual return fares through 31 October 2026 are JPY 1,000 for adults and JPY 500 for children. From 1 November, they are scheduled to change to JPY 1,200 and JPY 600 respectively.

Opening hours

Regular uphill operating hours are 8:30 am–5 pm, with the last downhill service at 5:20 pm. From 20 July to 31 August, hours are 8:30 am–6 pm, with the last downhill service at 6:20 pm.

Look out over Lake Kawaguchiko and towards Mount Fuji from the viewpoint. Clouds may hide the mountain.

How to get to Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway

Walk about 15 minutes from Kawaguchiko Station to the lakeside ropeway station. By bus, alight at the pleasure boat/ropeway entrance and walk to the station. Queue time after arrival is extra.

2026 inspection-related shortened services and closures

Shortened services are scheduled for regular inspections on 21–22 October and 25–26 November 2026. Annual inspection closure is scheduled for 7–18 December. Strong winds, thunderstorms and other bad weather may stop operations without notice; check that day's announcements.
