Individual return fares through 31 October 2026 are JPY 1,000 for adults and JPY 500 for children. Planned fares from 1 November are JPY 1,200 for adults and JPY 600 for children.
Opening hours and closed days
Usual operation is 08:30–17:00, last downward service 17:20. From 20 July to 31 August, operation is 08:30–18:00, last downward service 18:20.

How to get to Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway
Walk about 15 minutes from Kawaguchiko Station to the lakeside ropeway station. By bus, alight at Sightseeing Boat/Ropeway Entrance and walk onwards. Queues after reaching the boarding area are extra.

Shorter operation and inspection suspensions in 2026
Planned shorter hours apply on 21–22 October and 25–26 November 2026 for regular inspections. Annual inspection suspends service on 7–18 December. Wind, thunderstorms and other bad weather can stop it without notice; check that day’s updates.

Can the ropeway run when clouds hide Mount Fuji?
Yes, cloud-obscured views do not necessarily stop it. Strong winds/thunderstorms can suspend it; check current notices. Operating services do not guarantee mountain visibility.
