- Facility entrance → Castle-ruins walk and open buildings
Inari Turret and Kurogane Gate open 09:00–16:30, with admission until 16:00. Closed Mondays, days after public holidays and 29 December–3 January; open if Monday is a public holiday. The park itself remains open, so limit visits to outdoor ruins when buildings close. During heavy rain, reduce the visit and avoid climbing near high stone walls.

- Maizuru Castle Park → Kofu Station and departure preparation
Retrace your walk to the south exit, have lunch and catch your departure. The official roughly three-minute park–exit walk excludes visiting, meals and walking to the departure platform. This assumes an afternoon Chuo Line train; an early morning departure leaves little time for the ruins.

Can I visit gems before leaving on day two in the morning?
A morning departure leaves insufficient time. This course visits exhibits in the morning, returns to the station and leaves in the afternoon. To move it to day one, compare arrival, museum hours and ropeway waits together.
