Narita and Sawara’s historic streets

Stay in Narita and spend one day on Sawara surveying exhibits and old streets. Separate temple, exhibit and meal days.

Day 1 · Naritasan and Omotesando

Combine station-area temple visits and Omotesando walks today. For late arrivals, enjoy streets/meals and move indoor temple visits to tomorrow. Then shorten Sawara or replace it with a Narita day.

  1. Narita Airport railway station → Keisei-Narita or JR Narita Station

Choose a train stopping in Narita city. Distinguish it from Skyliner services to Nippori/Ueno. From Terminal 3, go first to Terminal 2’s railway station. Airport hotels and Narita station-area accommodation are in different locations.

  2. Around JR/Keisei-Narita stations → Omotesando to Naritasan Somon gate

Follow Omotesando’s shops to Somon. The station approach is roughly 800 m; the main hall is farther from the gate.
