Mie in 1 night and 2 days: Ise shrines or Toba attractions
For one night and two days, choose either Ise shrine visits or Toba attractions. In Ise, visit Geku on day 1 and Naiku on day 2, then return to Iseshi Station. In Toba, visit the aquarium on day 1 and Mikimoto Pearl Island on day 2, finishing at Toba Station.
Naiku requires a return bus journey, while Pearl Island's hours vary by season. Include a last-day visit only if there is time to return to the station and catch your departure.

Use this guidance when combining Ise, Toba and Iga. Read the items relevant to your chosen trip length and overnight bases.
Travelling from Iga to Ise
Take Iga Railway from Uenoshi to Iga-Kambe, then transfer to a Kintetsu route towards Iseshi. Kintetsu's Osaka and Yamada lines connect at Ise-Nakagawa, but whether you change trains there depends on your selected service. Search transfers and journey times for your travel date. A limited express requires a reserved-seat limited express ticket in addition to the basic ticket.

Where do I board the Naiku bus?
Routes 51 and 55 leave Iseshi-ekimae from bay 10; the return towards Iseshi Station leaves Naiku-mae from bay 2. The adult fare is ¥520 one way or ¥1,040 return. Other routes may use different bays. Enter your travel date and departure and arrival stops in Mie Kotsu's planner to choose both journeys.
What should I choose on my departure day from Toba?
Mikimoto Pearl Island and Kamome Promenade are each approximately five minutes on foot from Toba Station, but their entrances are in different places. Pearl Island charges admission; Kamome Promenade is a free coastal walking route. In strong wind or heavy rain, or if you depart early, skip the coastal walk and finish at Toba Station.

Before choosing a JR transport pass
The Ise–Kumano–Wakayama Area Tourist Pass costs ¥16,500 per adult for five consecutive days and covers designated sections, including Taki–Toba on the JR Sangu Line. Ise Railway and Iga Railway are different companies, and Kintetsu trains between Iseshi and Toba are excluded. The JR Ise–Toba Free Ticket departing from Nagoya City costs ¥5,300 per adult for two days, with designated JR coverage and conditions for exchanging the bus voucher. Do not directly compare a partial total beginning at a local station with a pass price that includes travel from your origin. Set your origin, dates, actual journeys, reservations and eligibility, then compare ordinary tickets. Accommodation, meals and facility admission are separate.

Is 20 minutes enough to visit Naiku?
