Mie in 3 nights and 4 days: the Futami coast or Iga and Ise

Stay three nights in Ise to add the aquarium and a coastal walk to Ise Jingu. Give Geku, Naiku, Toba Aquarium and the Futami coast a day each, using Kintetsu for the return trip to Toba and the JR Sangu Line for Futami. If the ninja museum interests you more, choose a route starting in Uenoshi and moving to Ise. Visit Naiku and Geku on different days.

The Ise-based itinerary visits Futami on the last day. If your departure is early, change the order or skip the coast. On the route starting in Iga, adjust the last day's Geku visit to fit your departure.

Can I visit Naiku before Geku on the route starting in Iga?

The Geku–Naiku order is a longstanding custom, rather than a compulsory rule. Route B proposes using the Iga–Ise day for travel, visiting Naiku on day 3 and Geku on day 4. Skip Geku on the last day if there is too little time before your departure.

Does the Ise–Kumano–Wakayama pass cover Kintetsu trains to Toba?

Kintetsu trains between Iseshi and Toba are excluded from this pass. Official rail coverage includes Taki–Toba on the JR Sangu Line and designated Ise Railway sections. Ise Railway and Iga Railway are also different companies. Before using a pass, compare the actual operators, lines and sections you will travel on.
