Admission costs JPY 200 for visitors of university age and above or JPY 100 for senior high school students. Junior pupils and younger enter free. Visitors aged 65+ pay JPY 100 with official proof.
Opening hours and closed days
The museum opens from 07:30 to 19:00 in March–July and September–November, from 07:30 to 20:00 in August and from 07:30 to 18:00 in December–February. Entry ends 30 minutes before closing. On 5–6 August, closing extends to 21:00. It closes on 30–31 December; check the official calendar for temporary closures.

How to get to Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum
Take line 2 towards Miyajimaguchi or line 6 towards Eba to Genbaku Dome-mae, then walk through the park to the East Building entrance. Return on line 2 or 6 towards Hiroshima Station. Ordinary one-way fare: adult JPY 240/child JPY 120.

Entry periods requiring reservations
Required advance online entry booking: March–July/September–November 07:30–08:30 and 17:30–18:30; December–February 07:30–08:30 and 16:30–17:30; August 07:30–08:30 and 18:30–19:30. Online purchase is recommended at other times too; crowding can end sales early. Check temporary closures and booking conditions before purchase.
